Monday morning - typical Monday morning! We get into the car, happy our next hotel is only 17 minutes away. Assured that the GPS will direct us there in no time, we load up, climb in, and type in our address. Uhhh....sorry...the GPS has no idea what we're talking about (Matilda - as we named her, decided to take a little vaca), so we drag out the iPhone. iPhone recognizes the address, but confuses us just a bit. After a few quick turn arounds and minor adjustments, we find ourselves on the Pennsylvania turnpike headed in the right direction. We arrive and are pleasantly surprised by our supernice accommodations.
Once we were moved in and settled, it was time for food. Dilana asked the desk for an Indian restaurant and what luck there was an awesome one right across the road. This was my first time eating Indian cuisine - a new adventure. I got chicken curry and it was delicious. Michael was trying on Dilana's sunglasses and the table napkins - he dubbed himself the Swedish mafia - too funny!
The show at Arcadia was really great! Dilana and Michael really rocked and put on an exceptional show. Dilana sang Ice to a spellbound audience, then she invited a talented student to take the spotlight once again. Kara sang a heartfelt ballad called "Failure". It was hauntingly beautiful.
After the show ended we had to haul it back to our hotel quickly for our early departure to Maryland. So, tonight, from where I sit, behind the wheel, it's zzzzz...zzzz....
OOOHHHH great dilana thanks for that image... i thought i was just stopping by to read Linda's wonderful blogs...and then you pass your "traumatic memory" to the rest of us! hahahaha

You will have a real treat driving from Altoona to Erie. I headed here to Buffalo NY yesterday and Erie is about the half way point. The trees on the way are at peak or near peak in color. Beautiful ride!
