Onward....to Philly!

Today was our travel day. We faced a five hour drive to Philadelphia, but had gorgeous weather, beautiful scenery and MOST surprisingly, no traffic!

I drove from Andover to Bridgeport, Connecticut, then we could see Dilana had been sitting in the car too long when she began to take pictures of her shoes to post, so we let her drive the rest of the way before various other body parts began appearing on Facebook. The rest of the drive was smooth and uneventful. We stopped along the way now and then to feed Michael and then he goes back to sleep in the back seat.

Driving through NYC was awesome! I got a great video of Dilana driving over the Hudson. We reached our hotel, took some time to unwind, then grabbed dinner at the sports bar next-door to the hotel, and got to witness the Philly's clinch their playoff berth. (a very LOUD dinner!) Our travel day ended peacefully with a late night walk back to our hotel.
